Chasing Quiet Moments

When I photograph a wedding, I’m chasing the quiet seconds you’ll never see again.
It’s not just about the first kiss or the sparkler exit — it’s the in-between moments that pull at me. Like the way she takes a deep breath before stepping into the ceremony, the sound of rain on the roof of the venue, or the nervous laughter shared with her dad right before the doors open.
So much of a wedding day is a game of hurry up and wait. We’re running ahead, anticipating what’s next, and then standing by — cameras ready — watching for the split seconds that unfold naturally.
Those are the moments that tell the real story. The ones that might feel small or even go unnoticed in the rush of the day. But years from now, when the memories start to blur, those photographs will bring it all back — the feeling, the energy, the love.
That’s why I chase them. Because it’s in those quiet, fleeting seconds that your story truly lives.
